SOAP our new study, Triumph Over Trials, with us today!

Friend, living in the brokenness and sin of our world is hard. I know there are days when our hearts long for heaven, and our minds need rest. Rest from the “what ifs,” rest from the fears, and rest from the unknown. Learning to navigate through seasons of uncertainty, change, and unending challenges by focusing our hearts and minds on the truths of God’s Word can help us to focus on the security and hope that God has for us.

Today, we can take comfort in God’s Word. God is a good, good Father, and He delights in reminding us of the promises we need to hear.

So, despite the storms and challenges you are facing today, I promise they will end. We will not have challenges forever. One day, we will no longer live in a land polluted with sin. Because of the incredible work Jesus did on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins as well as the incredible, free gift of salvation found through faith and not in the things of this world, we get to exchange a temporary hope with an eternal, living hope that never ends.

This truth brings us comfort. Even on our worst days, we still have so much to look forward to. The best truly is yet to come…so hold tight, sweet friend.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By his great mercy he gave us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, that is, into an inheritance imperishable, undefiled, and unfading. It is reserved in heaven for you” 1 Peter 1:3-4

You serve a great God who is full of mercy. Because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, you’ve been given a “new birth into a living hope,” a hope that never ends. This living hope isn’t a temporary or a fleeting feeling. It is a hope that is rooted in the victory and unending power of Jesus. It’s a hope that transforms our lives and empowers us to face each day with courage and endurance, knowing that our future is secure in Him.

Not only do we have this transforming hope to cling to, but we have been given an inheritance that is “imperishable, undefiled, and unfading.” In a world where everything seems to decay, where beauty fades, and where even the most safe investments can evaporate overnight, this inheritance never will. The inheritance that God gives us isn’t subject to the whims of our economies, the politics of our countries, or the wisdom of others. This inheritance is kept safe in heaven for us by God Himself.

So take heart, dear friend. No matter what you face today, whether that personal loss, uncertainty looking toward the future, or everyday struggles and challenges, hold on to this amazing, never-ending, living hope that God has so lovingly given to us. The inheritance that awaits us in heaven is far beyond anything we can imagine. So stand strong in the Lord and His incredible promises. The best truly is yet to come.

Love God Greatly,
