Friendship Bible Study Journal for Women

TRUSTING GOD

IN THE MIDST OF SUFFERING

Has the world seemed like it’s crashing down all around you? Do you feel like you’ve been hit with one storm after another? Have you begun to wonder where God is in the midst of all your heartbreak?

In this four-week study, you will learn that it is okay to cry out to God in the midst of your suffering, like David, Jeremiah, and Paul. All three men suffered greatly in their lives and bravely cried out to God in the midst of their grief, vocalizing the sorrow they experienced.

Through Trusting God in the Midst of Suffering, you will learn how to lament, which means bringing your sorrows, heartbreak, and pain to God. You will learn that it’s healthy and good to honestly cry out to God in the midst of your pain. You will also learn how to trust God again and rejoice, even on your hardest days.

The Trusting God in the Midst of Suffering Bible study journal includes:

– 200+ pages
– Six-week reading plan
– Daily Scripture readings
– SOAP journaling pages
– Daily devotionals
– Weekly challenges and reflection questions
– Global highlight: LGG Burmese Branch
– Beautiful full color photography

Friendship Bible Study Journal for Kids

TRUSTING GOD

IN THE MIDST OF SUFFERING

KID’S JOURNAL

Trusting God in the Midst of Suffering for Kids is a four-week study in which kids will learn it is okay to cry out to God when we feel sad, just like David, Jeremiah, and Paul did in the Bible.

Through this study, kids will learn that when they feel sad, they can be honest with God in their prayers. They will learn that they can tell Him exactly what they feel. God loves to hear our prayers and when we are hurting and sad, God is hurting and sad with us. We are never alone—God is always with us and is always there to help us.

This PDF instant download journal for kids includes:

Four-week reading plan
Daily Scripture readings
Pages for reflecting on each lesson
Coloring and activity pages

This study is ideal for children between five and eleven years old.

Trusting God in the Midst of Suffering for Kids serves as a companion to our women’s study, Trusting God in the Midst of Suffering.

Let’s encourage and equip the next generation to know and love God greatly with their lives, helping them learn more about God and the practice of lament as they grow in their faith!

Please note: This is a digital journal, no physical product will be shipped.

100% of your journal purchase goes back into the ministry, helping us translate each study into multiple languages as we reach more women around the world with God’s Word.

Sometimes kids are the best teachers. An innocent bedtime prayer will go something like, “Thank you for Coco (our dog), and for space to run, and legs, and shoes, and sunshine, and that ladybug I found on the leaf, and for the leaf, and all the animals, and . . .”...

Turning Lament into Dancing

2021 was the hardest year of my life. It was a time when I experienced loss in many ways and felt the stinging pain of loneliness. The number one used phrase written in all my journals was this: I can’t tell anyone. I am alone. No one knew I was hurting because,...

Lament is a powerful practice. As we express our pain to God, we also declare our faith in Him. When we cry out to Him, we recognize the way sin has caused pain and suffering in the world He created. Lament is a way to express our faith in Him, even while experiencing...

How Long, O Lord?

We packed the car in sunny South Florida before lunchtime and started the long drive to visit Aunt Beth in the mountains. Not long into the drive, I heard a loud voice growling out of a tiny body strapped into the car seat in the rear. “This is taking too l-o-n-g!”  ...
