For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. – Isaiah 9:6
Here God declares a message of hope by announcing the upcoming birth of Jesus. He would come and become our Almighty Advisor whose reign would not end. He would dispense peace and cause the chaos and turmoil of this world to bow to His power.
No one else ever gifted a Son to save the whole world from sin. Only God. And Jesus is not only a Son. He is the Son, the Prince of Peace. Jesus came to rescue a condemned world. He came to blanket us with hope and peace which never cease to increase. The Prince of Peace unlocked the gates of our prison of sin and delivered us to freedom from sin.
Praise you, God Almighty for bringing hope to this tumultuous world! Thank you to Your one and only Offspring for existing as the mainspring of all harmony and pure reconciliation in any situation!
