Friends,
As the school year winds down and we look forward to summer, now is a great time to get in the habit of reading God’s Word. On June 6th, two weeks from today, we will be starting our summer study: David! We would love for you to join us! Our upcoming David study is uniquely designed to be unlike any David study you’ve ever been a part of!
In this eight-week Love God Greatly Bible study, our look into the life of David will ultimately point us to a better Shepherd, Friend, and King: Jesus. On Mondays and Tuesdays of each week we’ll explore David’s life. Wednesdays and Thursdays we will look at Jesus, and Fridays we’ll examine our own hearts. As we study together, see if you can spot God’s faithfulness, His kindness, His patience, His justice, His mercy, and His grace in the life of David. For the God of David is our God as well.
This is going to be an amazing study and we can’t wait to begin it with you! Invite your friends, host a once a week study in your home…reach out to those who wouldn’t normally go to church but who are seeking to know more about God. Step out in faith this summer and be brave, be intentional and be in God’s Word…make it an unforgettable summer!
Besides our David study journals, we also have corresponding study journals for our kids as well! Now you can study the same daily verses as your children…TOGETHER! This summer, teach your kiddos the power of opening God’s Word and applying it to their lives! Our journals are simple and easy for children of many ages to use! Through our “writing out the verse”, to our “draw or write what this verse means to you” sections, kids have the space to interact and process God’s Word on their level and apply it to their lives. This simple yet effective method teaches children at an early age how to engage with God’s Word and learn to feed themselves spiritually. It’s never too late or early to get our children reading and applying God’s Word to their lives!

I was wondering the same thing as well

Hi Marla, the blog post with materials will be coming next Monday 🙂 Sheila, LGG Encourager
I was wondering about that too
God has been ‘priming me’ for this study as I have been reading through my One Year Study Bible. May has been filed with David’s story in the book of Samuel. And now, the opportunity to take this understanding even deeper. ..God is so good and provides for all our needs! Thank you for this new study booklet for children also. I will be doing this with my 6 yr old granddaughter as she will be staying with me alot this summer – how wonderful to tell her that this time, she has her own book!!!
Oh Sheila how lovely! We love hearing how God brings these studies at just the right time. Your grand daughter will love it! I know my grandsons love being a part of the study with their mom. Sheila, LGG Encourager

Where is the link for the downloadable materials?
Never mind… I just saw the above post! Sorry :-)!
Ohhh sweet friends!
I’m so excited to see you all joining us! Our upcoming David study is going to be wonderful and I can’t wait to get it started with you!!!:) Yes, our journals will be available for download the Monday before the study begins. Please keep in mind that while the journals are free to download, running a ministry this size is not. 🙂 Our heart is to continue to allow our journals to be downloaded for free for those who can not afford quality Bible study materials so they will not be limited in participating in our studies. But in order to “keep our doors open” we must bring in money to pay our bills. 🙂 We do this by raising money through our journal sales. 🙂 We try very hard to keep the costs of the journals down and every dollar blesses our ministry more than you know! If you are able to purchase a journal it blesses us as we strive to bless you with our studies. The cost between having the journal printed versus purchasing it off Amazon is not much different…but it sure does help us. 🙂
Ours hearts are always to bless you and love you the best way we can…we even have a special announcement coming tomorrow of another way we are investing in YOU…purchasing a journal or donating to our non-profit ministry helps us do that!!!
Thank YOU so much for understanding and supporting #LoveGodGreatly!:)
Can you please tell me what the recommended age range is for the kid’s study book?
Hi Julie!
I’d say elementary!:) We have areas for kids to color as well as draw or write depending on their age. 🙂 Hope that helps!:)
My daughter is 1e and I want her to do this with me. Should I get the reg. Version or the kids one? What is the age recommendation for kids? I have kids 3-14. Thanks!
Is the Kids Journal downloadable to print out? or do we need to purchase it as a book?
On the kids version, is that something that has to be done now along with our study, or just something we can do with or have our children do?
