In 2013, my life took an unexpected turn. While I was going through a family situation, I also found myself in the middle of a marriage separation that I never expected. It was devastating for me. I had to face a new normal in life.
I remember in the past when someone would ask me about my testimony, I didn’t have a shocking story that had brought me to God’s feet. I had the blessing of knowing God from an early age. I considered myself a woman who had her life organized and planned as well as possible, but I wasn’t prepared for something as hard as this. Through it all, God taught me to lead a true life of faith and dependence on Him.
I really wanted Him to answer my prayers and bring my family together again. I prayed so hard for it, but the answers I wanted didn’t come. Encouraged by my need and desire to study the Word of God, I searched the internet for “Bible Studies for Women.” Those were exactly the words I typed, and the search led me to Love God Greatly. From the first study, God spoke to my own needs and led me to meet wonderful women.
I began to discover more about God’s character, and I learned to live day by day, giving thanks for whatever each day brings, whether happiness or trials, while also enjoying what I have around me at the moment.
“Women helping other women to love God greatly with their lives” became a reality for me. God led me to share His love, strength, and support and, above all, to always trust Him.
Today, God has given me the enormous privilege of serving Him in several areas of Love God Greatly, and He has given me the gift of being able to see my two daughters serving in this ministry at the same time.
God did not change my circumstances, but He has changed my heart.
