Every Love God Greatly study highlights one of the languages we serve – our new study, The Savior Who Comes Near, includes the highlight of our Ukrainian branch!

My walk with God began when I was fifteen and still in school. After repenting and giving my life to Christ, I was encouraged to begin three things: pray, read the Bible, and join a church. The first two came more naturally, as they depended on my personal discipline. But finding the right church—one that teaches the Word of God faithfully—was a challenge.

After some difficult experiences, I was grateful to discover a church just a short walk from my home. I attended there for two years, growing in faith and fellowship. When the time came for me to leave for university, my church family and pastor gathered to pray that God would lead me to a new church community. God answered that prayer in an amazing way.

In my university city, He led me to a church grounded in biblical teaching. It was there that my understanding of salvation—by grace through faith—became clear and deeply rooted. During those years, God strengthened my faith and surrounded me with Christian friends who are still part of my life today. He also gave me opportunities to serve in Sunday school, translating sermons and Christian resources, and children’s camps and orphanages.

Now, with Ukraine at war and many people displaced, the need for ministry is greater than ever. I currently lead Saturday Bible lessons, which are mostly attended by elderly women. It’s been a big shift—from working with children to now ministering to seniors—but I continue to trust that God is using the gifts He’s given me for His glory.

In the autumn of 2023, I was introduced to the ministry of Love God Greatly. Since then, together with my dear sisters in Christ—Victoria, Natalia, and Iryna—we’ve translated 12 Bible study journals into Ukrainian. Each of us now serves in a different place due to the war: Natalia in Albania, Iryna in Mongolia, Victoria, who started the branch, is abroad because of her education, and I remain in Ukraine. But through this ministry, we’ve stayed connected and continue to serve together.

Despite the hardships, we see God’s faithfulness again and again. Ukrainians who have fled their homes can now access our Bible studies online, free of charge. These journals speak directly to the heart, pointing people to God’s truth, grace, and presence in every circumstance. The SOAP method used in the studies is both simple and powerful, helping believers—both new and mature—to engage with Scripture and grow in faith.

Materials we translate are used now at our Saturday Bible group and bless all of us.

Every time I translate, edit, or post on social media, I’m reminded of a beautiful truth. When we serve God and others with a sincere heart, we often receive much more than we give.

This season has deepened my belief that the best place for our hearts and souls is among God’s people—allowing Him to shape us, work through us, and use us to help others find peace with Him.

To Him be the glory. He has been faithful before. He is trustworthy today, and He will be forever.
