Meet Manoti – Love God Greatly Swahili

As a child, I was rushed to the hospital after I swallowed a coin and it got stuck in my throat. I was scheduled to have an operation the next day because, by the time I arrived at the hospital, the coin was stuck between my ribs. That same night, I woke up and felt something in my mouth. I reached in and the coin had miraculously come out! I knew then God was with me, and He has been with me through much more! 

I gave my life to Christ in my teens and, since then, the longing of my heart has been to live fully for Him. I am grateful for my parents who trained me in the ways of God. I married a wonderful, God-fearing man in my mid-twenties and we have been blessed with three beautiful children. 

We relocated to Australia in 2014. After coming to Australia, I couldn’t find an in-depth Bible study group to join. It was challenging to find one that worked with the schedule of my growing family, so I started searching for an online Bible study. I found Love God Greatly in 2017, where I joined the 1 & 2 Timothy study. 

I love using the Love God Greatly studies because I can do in-depth Bible studies at my leisure and connect with women from different parts of the world. The SOAP method challenges me to apply what I have been reading and helps me gain wisdom and understanding. My life is richer because of this wonderful community. 

I’ve been privileged to be part of the LGG encouragement team and translators team. God has enabled me to work with my beautiful East African sisters to translate the studies into Swahili. As a child and growing up, I always felt like God was with me. I’m blessed to share this hope and encouragement with women around the world. I am grateful for the gift of life and salvation.
