Dear Love God Greatly Friends,

We live in a crazy world. It doesn’t take much for us to hear the heartbreaking news from different parts of the world, or from right outside our doorsteps. We can become shocked and  worried and paralyzed by fear, frustrated with our perceived inability to help. As God’s children and women of faith, we know well that God’s Word equips us for everything in life. God calls us to faith, to trust in Him no matter the circumstances around us.

This season, we’re choosing to spend 10 days in devoted prayer for Christians all over the world. Together, we can stand firm in truth and pray for the global Church. Below you’ll find these prayer prompts and passages to read and meditate on as you pray. We invite you to read them, take time to reflect on them, and use them as prompts as you pray in your own words throughout the day.

We would love to encourage you to set a daily alarm on your phone to remind you to pray at the same time every day. Join our online community and let us storm heaven together!

Love God greatly!

Day 1

Psalm 86:17

Show me evidence of your favor! Then those who hate me will see it and be ashamed, for you, O Lord, will help me and comfort me.

Lord, our hearts are breaking as we witness the evil happening around the world. Help us keep our eyes on You. Move mightily to save: split waters, crumble walls and protect your children. Open the eyes of those bent on evil so they may see You and turn from their wicked ways. Turn those who hate You into mighty witnesses for Your truth, Lord, for Your glory! Be our comfort and help in this heartbreaking time. Amen.

Day 2

Matthew 19:26

Jesus looked at them and replied, “This is impossible for mere humans, but for God all things are possible.”

Lord, in Your holy Name we pray against the terrorism that is rising up. Lord, we pray against the evil plans, desires, and actions. We pray for supernatural heart change. We pray for their plans to fail. We pray you will cause discord among them and instead bring revival in their ranks. God, You are King of the universe and God of the impossible. We ask You to do the impossible now. Amen.

Day 3

Matthew 5:16

In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they can see your good deeds and give honor to your Father in heaven.

Lord, help us to be bold as we stand for You in this dark time. Help us shine brightly for You. Replace our fear with love. As the world seems to be getting darker and darker, help us be set apart for You and bring glory to Your Name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

Day 4

Ephesians 6:12

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens.

Lord, we pause to pray against the darkness that seems to be spreading in our countries. Give us wisdom and discernment to know how to fight it. Give us minds to focus on truth and hearts that do not give in to fear. Thank You for empowering us with Your Word. Help us to be bold for You. We pray in Your Name against this spirit of darkness. Amen.

Day 5

2 Timothy 1:7

For God did not give us a Spirit of fear but of power and love and self-control.

Lord, so many are struggling with fear right now. If feels like lately we can’t escape it. Fear is trying to fill our hearts, minds, and dreams. Empower us not to give in to fear but instead to focus on Your love and be self-controlled with our thoughts. Help us to be faithful instead of fearful. Amen.

Day 6

Psalm 91:4-5

He will shelter you with his wings; you will find safety under his wings.

His faithfulness is like a shield or a protective wall. You need not fear the terrors of the night,

the arrow that flies by day,

Lord, we thank You for being our shelter in our storms. Thank You for the safety we find under Your mighty wings. You are our protective wall in battles and You are our shield in times of war. Thank You for surrounding us with Your love so we do not have to live in fear. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Day 7

1 Timothy 2:1-2

First of all, then, I urge that requests, prayers, intercessions, and thanks be offered on behalf of all people, even for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.

Lord, we lift up the nations of the world to you today. We pray for the governments around the world to be filled with leaders who love You, who want to serve You and honor You with the positions You have given them. We pray for leaders to fill our countries who love You and want Your love and righteousness to rule their lands. Lord, we pray for the hearts of our leaders to turn to You. We pray they will submit their lives to Your Lordship and in doing so, bring glory to Your Name. Amen.

Day 8

Colossians 1:10-14

so you may live worthily of the Lord and please him in all respects—bearing fruit in every good deed, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might for the display of all patience and steadfastness, joyfully giving thanks to the Father who has qualified you to share in the saints’ inheritance in the light. He delivered us from the power of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

Lord, today we lift up the body of Christ and pray for our churches around the world. In this time, in this day, we pray our lives will bear good fruit. We pray we will grow in our knowledge of You. We pray we will stand strong because of Your power at work in our lives. We pray our lives will be filled with joy, love, patience, and thankfulness. Thank You for delivering us from darkness and transforming our lives. Thank You for redemption and forgiveness of our sins. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Day 9

1 Timothy 2:1

First of all, then, I urge that requests, prayers, intercessions, and thanks be offered on behalf of all people.

Lord, we know with each passing day Your return is closer and closer. Today, we pause and pray on behalf of those who do not yet know You. We lift up our friends, family members, and loved ones to You. We come together and pray for the Holy Spirit to move powerfully in their lives, opening their eyes, hearts, and minds to Your truth. We pray today for a mighty revival to come to our lands. We pray for answered prayers for those who have been praying years for their loved ones to be saved, for those who have never heard of You, yet are searching. Use your church to reach the lost through Your Holy Spirit. Amen.

Day 10

Titus 2:11-13

For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people. It trains us to reject godless ways and worldly desires and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, as we wait for the happy fulfillment of our hope in the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Lord, thank You for the incredible work of salvation You have brought to all people. Help us keep our eyes on You and stand strong as we wait for Your glorious return. Help us not give in to fear but be productive with the days we have, boldly making the most of every opportunity You give us. Empower us to glorify You with our days. Amen.
