As a child raised in a Catholic household with effects of the tragic Genocide against the Tustsi in 1994, I grew up attending a local church with my family. Faith was always a part of our lives, but it wasn’t until much later, in an unexpected moment, that I encountered Jesus in a deeply personal way and gave my life to Him. That seemingly random moment of salvation turned my world upside down in the most beautiful way.
In the years that followed, I began to hunger for God’s Word like never before. Yet, there were times I felt isolated in my walk with Christ, longing for a deeper sense of community with other young women who shared my faith. In the most unexpected ways, Love God Greatly (LGG) came into my life. I was introduced to LGG by a dear friend on a missionary trip to Zambia in 2023. Since then, it has become a great pillar in strengthening and sharing my faith with more women.
Serving with LGG in Rwanda has been an incredible journey. I’ve seen women across our country find strength, healing, and hope through the Word of God. The joy of seeing them come together to study Scripture and encourage one another is a constant reminder of God’s faithfulness. LGG is more than a ministry—it’s a movement of women being equipped and empowered by the Word of God.
To anyone reading this, know that God’s love is relentless, and His plans for you are greater than you could ever imagine. I am grateful to be part of this ministry that is making a difference not only in my life but in the lives of countless women in Rwanda and beyond.
