I don’t know what season you’re walking through right now, but if you’re anything like me, you’re carrying a lot.
Maybe you’re trying to love your people well while feeling stretched too thin. Maybe you’re facing a decision that keeps you up at night, wondering what the right next step is. Or maybe life is so loud and fast-paced that your heart is quietly asking, Lord, is this really the way You want me to go?
I get it. I’ve been there too. And it’s exactly why I keep coming back to this simple, powerful prayer:
Lord, I need Your wisdom.
Because here’s what I’ve learned—God’s wisdom isn’t loud or flashy like the world’s advice. It doesn’t change with trends or chase the next best thing. His wisdom is steady. It’s rooted in truth. It’s gentle, peace-filled, and full of mercy (Jas 3:17). And when we slow down long enough to seek it, it changes everything.
God invites us to ask Him for wisdom—no shame, no hesitation, no fear of asking too much. He promises to give it generously (Jas 1:5). He loves leading us. But the kind of wisdom we need doesn’t come from a podcast, a planner, or a perfectly crafted to-do list. It comes from time in His Word. From quiet moments of prayer. From walking closely with Him in the middle of real life.
That’s what this six-week study is all about—creating space to slow down and ask God for His wisdom in the areas that matter most: our relationships, our time, our decisions, our calling, and more. Together, we’ll open the pages of the Bible—and we’ll ask God, “What do You say about this?”
And here’s the good news: You don’t have to have all the answers. You just need to keep coming to the One who does.
