How One Mom’s Yes to God Sparked a Movement in Vietnam

When Grace first purchased a Love God Greatly Bible, she had no idea it would lead to something much bigger. As a mother juggling the challenges of raising children and balancing a busy schedule, she longed for encouragement from God’s Word. But with so few Bible study resources available in Vietnamese, she struggled to find the support she needed. That’s when she had an idea—if the resources didn’t exist, she could join alongside Love God Greatly and help create them.

Her Vietnamese Mom Group is an online community where moms of young children share their struggles and experiences. They also serve their community by gifting birthday cakes to children whose families can’t afford them and providing small gifts to children in need.

In Vietnam, there are few Bible studies for moms, and cultural barriers often keep women from discussing personal struggles openly. Grace explained, “When I was a teenager, if I wanted to read testimonies or Christian perspectives on topics like puberty, relationships, or family crisis, I had to search in English.”

These studies have deeply impacted the women in her group.

One mom, whose husband is a non-believer, told Grace, “This reading reminded me to lean on God on hard days—He will not leave me.” Another single mom was moved by a study that spoke directly to her experience, saying, “For the first time, I felt seen and heard.”

Through Love God Greatly, these women are encountering God’s Word in a way that speaks to their hearts, and it is incredible to see how God is using this ministry to meet women right where they are.
