Marinda is a member of our Afrikaans translation team. Three years ago, Marinda sat in her quiet sanctuary—a room set apart for time with her Heavenly Father—searching for something more. After the uncertainty of the pandemic, she longed to go deeper in her faith but didn’t know where to start.
As she scrolled through Facebook, Marinda stumbled upon Love God Greatly and our Afrikaans Translation Branch. Curious, she followed the links, downloaded the app, and joined her first Bible study: Friendship. What she discovered was more than just a study—it was the beginning of a life-changing journey.
With every study, God revealed more of Himself to Marinda. Some studies spoke directly to her struggles, others strengthened her faith, and many she shared with friends who needed encouragement. What started as a search for more of God turned into a passion to invite others into His Word.

Today, Marinda is part of Love God Greatly’s Afrikaans translation branch, ensuring that even more women can experience God’s Word in their heart language.
