Psalm 100
100 Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!2 Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!3 Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!5 For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.
SOAP – Psalm 100:4-5
The psalmist makes a proclamation of joy to the Lord who has been so good to Him. Believers can be thankful to God for goodness and His presence. We can rest our confidence and assurance in the fact that the Lord is in our midst pouring mercy and truth into our lives.
What transformation would take place in your life if you focused only on God’s mercy and goodness in your life? Will you begin to pray for more focus and meditation on God’s mighty work in your life and the lives around you?
Father God, I thank You for Your joy. Thank You for reminding me that Your mercy and truth are abundant and readily available in my life. Thank You for showing me that I’m enough, that I am worthy of love, and that You value and delight in me. Lord, show me how to walk in the knowledge of Your love. Thank You for Your patient and tender love and care. In Jesus’ name. Amen..
