Here’s a little more about Lyli!
Where do you live?
I live in sunny South Florida.
How long have you been writing for Love God Greatly?
Which LGG Bible study has been your favorite to write for?
“You are Forgiven” was a life-changing study.
What are some of your favorite subjects to write about?
I often share about persevering and carrying God’s love to the difficult people in our lives. We are called to be God’s ambassadors of reconciliation and fight for redemption in our families.
What faith-related topics are you most passionate about?
I write a great deal about praying big for spiritual breakthrough. With God’s help we can keep the faith and stand strong even during the hardest times.
When and how did you come to have a personal relationship with Jesus?
When I started middle school, my parents enrolled me in a private Christian school. During a chapel service there, I heard a clear presentation of the gospel and understood that Jesus had died to pay for my sins. I went forward to the altar that day and surrendered my life to Him as my Savior. Best decision ever!
What is God teaching you during this season of life?
God is teaching me to surrender my expectations and trust Him with my tomorrow. I don’t know what will happen, but I know He will go before me and give me whatever I need for the unexpected surprises ahead.
Do you have a particular verse or passage you keep going back to in this season of life?
“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.” (Proverbs 31:25, NLT)
What is your favorite way to spend a Sunday afternoon with no agenda?
I love to get outside with my Bible, journal, and worship music.
What is your favorite place to travel?
Our best vacation ever was a two-week cruise to Alaska where we saw glaciers and whales. Absolutely beautiful!
