Meeting Spiritual and Physical Needs—One Patient at a Time

In a diverse neighborhood of Dallas, Texas filled with refugee families, international students, and those without access to healthcare, Watermark Health stands as more than just a medical clinic—it is a beacon of hope. Sam, the clinic director, shared how they often see patients from war-torn countries like Myanmar, Nigeria, and Afghanistan—women and men who carry deep emotional and physical wounds caused by trauma and displacement.

“For many of our patients, this is the first time they’ve experienced both compassion and the message of the gospel. She recalls one woman who was overcome with emotion after receiving free medical care. “What moved her the most wasn’t just the treatment. It was the gift of a Bible study in her own language. That small gesture told her she was seen, known, and loved.”

– Sam

Through our partnership with Watermark Health, Love God Greatly provides Bible studies in patients’ heart languages, offering truth, dignity, and peace. These resources are more than just words—they’re lifelines for the soul.

“These studies do more than inform—they restore dignity,” Sam adds. “Seeing your own language on the cover of a Bible study says, ‘You belong. You matter.’”
