Ecclesiastes 8:10-13 . 10 Then I saw the wicked buried, who had come and gone from the place of holiness, and they were forgotten[a] in the city where they had so done. This also is vanity. 11 Because the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. 12 Though a sinner does evil a hundred times, and his days are prolonged, yet I surely know that it will be well with those who fear God, who fear before Him. 13 But it will not be well with the wicked; nor will he prolong his days, which are as a shadow, because he does not fear before God.

SOAP – Ecclesiastes 8:12   Solomon expresses sadness that the wicked prosper and their evil deeds may be forgotten after death. Yet, he trusts God and His timing of justice. Justice is a holy attribute of our God. He demands righteousness. Those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior wear His righteousness and will be preserved forever. We won’t be forsaken and will spend eternity with Him.    God’s justice will always prevail. When we trust our God of justice to judge our enemies, we can rest in that faith. In Him, we then have the ability to love the seemingly unlovable because we know that God will avenge all, fairly and honorably
