Into the Text
Sweet friend, you are not an afterthought. You are not random. You are the intentional handiwork of a loving and wise Creator.
God formed you with care—knitting you together in your mother’s womb. Before your first breath, He had already written every day of your life in His book (Psalm 139:16). That means today—whatever it holds—is not meaningless. It’s part of a divine design authored by the One who sees both the beginning and the end.
Ephesians 2:10 tells us that we are His creative work—His poiēma, the Greek word for poem or masterpiece. You are God’s work of art, shaped in Christ for specific, meaningful works that He prepared in advance. You weren’t just created by God—you were created for God. And your life surrendered to Him is meant to display His glory.
But here’s the challenge: the world often defines purpose by performance. It measures worth by visibility and impact. Yet God’s wisdom invites us to look deeper. True purpose isn’t found in platform or productivity—it’s found in abiding in Christ and walking in step with Him.
The good works He prepared for you aren’t always loud or glamorous. They might look like faithfulness in the quiet, kindness in the unseen, and courage in the mundane. But they are eternally significant. Nothing done in love for Him is ever wasted.
We need wisdom to trust that. Wisdom to silence comparison. Wisdom to stay rooted in God’s truth when our hearts want to chase approval or validation. Wisdom to say, “Lord, I may not see the full picture—but I trust that You do.”
You were created on purpose, for this moment, in this place, with His Spirit living in you and His grace sustaining you. And you don’t walk alone. The One who called you is faithful—and He walks with you, step by step, into every good work He has planned.
So today, rest in your identity as His beloved daughter. Ask for eyes to see what He’s placed before you. And remember—you are loved by the One who made you.
