All day long my tongue will also tell about your justice, for those who want to harm me will be embarrassed and ashamed.”

Psalm 71:24

Into the Text

When the Jews defeated their enemies, they didn’t keep quiet about it. They celebrated! They gathered to remember God’s righteous help and to praise Him for the victory He had given them. I can imagine them sitting around the table during the Feast of Purim, retelling the story of how God had delivered them from their enemies, sharing how He had brought their enemies to shame. Their hearts must have been overflowing with gratitude as they rejoiced in the God who had saved them.

What about us, sweet friend? Do we talk about what God has done in our lives? Do we take time to share with others how He has answered our prayers, fought our battles, and shown up in ways we never expected? We often move from one prayer request to the next, forgetting to pause and reflect on the amazing ways God has already worked.

There’s so much power in sharing our stories of God’s faithfulness. When we speak of His goodness, not only do we give Him the honor and glory He deserves, but we also encourage the hearts of those around us. Let’s be women who talk about what the Lord is doing in our lives! Let’s be intentional about sharing His goodness and praising Him for all He has done.

Take a moment to reflect: What has God done for you that you can rejoice in today? Who can you share it with? Let’s celebrate His faithfulness together!

Prayer

Dear Jesus, thank you for the countless ways you have worked in my life and defeated the enemies who sought to harm me. Help me to honor you by speaking of your goodness and sharing how you’ve answered my prayers. May my life be a reflection of your love, grace, and power. Amen.
