Sweet sister,
One of our most important roles as moms is to help our children see God’s hand in their lives. Our world is full of God’s creation that reveals His reality, from oceans that roar His majesty with each crashing wave and flowers that display His creativity in their design and array of colors. Each sunrise and every bird’s song is a testament to His presence. As we guide our children, let’s pray for them to have eyes that truly see and ears that really hear the evidence of His love and care around us. We are not alone in this world. God is with us, although we can’t physically see Him. He is Emmanuel…God with us.
It is so important to help them see Him by pointing out His fingerprints in their lives – in answered prayers, unexpected blessings, and even in the challenges where His strength is made perfect in weakness. By doing so, we help them to understand that God is not a distant concept but a personal, loving Father involved in every aspect of their lives.
Let’s teach our children about a God who is big enough to hold the universe yet intimate enough to hold their worries, dreams, and fears. He is a God who rejoices in their successes and comforts them in their struggles.
In showing them the vastness of God’s power and the depth of His love, we give them a foundation that can withstand any storm – a vision of God who is always working for their good and His glory. He truly does have the whole world in His capable hands.
Prayer
Dear Jesus, help me guide my children to see Your hand at work in their lives. Give me wisdom to highlight Your presence in the world around us. May my words and actions reveal Your love and power, fostering a deep, lasting faith in their hearts. Amen.
