Devotional: Truth Over Lies W1D2

Tuesday – Satan Hates God & His People

Read: Acts 13:10; Revelation 12:10; 2 Thessalonians 3:3

SOAP: Revelation 12:10; 2 Thessalonians 3:3

SOAP: And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers[a] has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God.- Revelation 12:10;

SOAP: But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one- 2 Thessalonians 3:3

Did you know you have an enemy? Greater than any military or political opponent, Satan wars against God and His followers.  He is full of deceit and will use this trait to pull others away from following Jesus.

Even though we have an enemy working against us, God is on our side.  According to 2 Thessalonians 3:3, God is faithful in guarding us from the evil one.  Christ defeated Satan through His death, resurrection, and ascension because He gave Satan no right to accuse believers.  Therefore, we do not have to fear.

You can have peace, knowing Christ has overcome the schemes of our accuser!

Father God, I know I have an enemy in this world.  Help me to remember that I have victory through Christ.  Thank you for the forgiveness I have in Him. I pray You will help me walk in victory rather than fear.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
