Read: Micah 4:6-8, Psalm 93

SOAP: Micah 4:7

“and the lame I will make the remnant,
and those who were cast off, a strong nation;
and the Lord will reign over them in Mount Zion
from this time forth and forevermore.” Micah 4:7

I love how God always has in mind those who may pass unnoticed to us. Only in God´s Kingdom those who have no possibility of succeed, according to the world standards, are given a preeminent place at the table. It doesn´t matter how small or how weak the remnant of the Jews might be. God will make them strong when Jesus comes back as King and Jerusalem will be, once again, the tower of the flock, the capital city, as it was in the times of David. The Messiah will come to gather His faithful remnant of the Jewish people and will make them strong against the other nations.

Psalm 93 is a beautiful reminder that God´s throne has been established from old and it´s everlasting (93:2). No matter what happens in our lives, He reigns. Storms will come, floods will try to destroy us. Fire will try to consume us. When this happen, we have to remember that God is still God and that He is sitting at the throne. I don´t know what´s your battle today, but God will give you the courage you need to fight it! Remember you can do all things in Christ who strengthens you (Phil. 4:13). 4:13).

Dear Lord, when life gets hard, please, help me remember You reign in majesty and nothing is out of Your control. In Jesus name, Amen.
