Into the Text

Sweet sister,

The path of surrender isn’t always an easy one, especially in our world that often values control and self-sufficiency. But, surrendering to God’s will brings a deeper peace and joy than we could ever find on our own.

In the beautiful yet simple prayer Jesus taught His disciples, there is a profound call to surrender – to let God’s will be done in our lives, as perfectly as it is in heaven. This surrender means trusting Him with our hopes, dreams, and the everyday details of our lives.

As mothers, wives, sisters, and friends, living a life of surrender means acknowledging that God’s plans for us and our loved ones are better than anything we could dream up. It’s in the daily moments of letting go and letting God take the lead where we truly find freedom.

Crazy as it sounds, it is in surrender that we find the strength to face our challenges and the grace to embrace our joys. It’s a daily decision to say, “Lord, not my will, but Yours be done.” This act of trust doesn’t diminish us; instead, it aligns us with the very heart of God.

So let’s encourage each other to live surrendered lives, trusting that God is good, His plans are perfect, and His love for us is unfailing. In surrender, we find our truest selves – loved, cherished, and forgiven by a Father who wants the best for us.

Prayer

Dear Jesus, help me to live a life of surrender to You. Teach me to trust Your will and to embrace Your plans for me and my family. May my heart always echo the prayer, ‘Your kingdom come. Your will be done.’ In Jesus’ name, Amen.
