Romans 10:10-15    10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”[a]  12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.  13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”[b] 14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?  15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written:“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace,[c] Who bring glad tidings of good things!”[d]

SOAP –  Romans 10:14-15

A Christian’s source of peace comes from God and the knowledge that she has been united with Him through Jesus Christ. The same mighty power that raised Jesus from the dead is within us and equips us each day to do God’s will and to live for His glory.  We do not have to fear. Jesus reassures us of the certainty of God’s permanent presence with us. We also can experience the peace that comes from knowing that Jesus is seated in heaven next to God praying for us.

Is peace a gift you give to all you encounter? Christians have made peace with God, so we are able to share the message of peace with others.

Father God, I thank You for Your peace that surpasses all understanding.  Teach me to become a peacemaker in all situations, bringing Christ into every situation and circumstance. Help me to share Your message of peace with those in strife. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
