I recently sat in a meeting at a local seminary and shared about Love God Greatly: how our Bible studies are now being translated into 18 languages and are reaching women all over the world… in over 200 different countries, to be exact. After I finished sharing, the professor looked at me and asked, “How is this possible? How is your ministry doing so much with so little?”
My answer was… God, and you!
Us, together… serving side by side for His glory with the same goal: to help get women into God’s Word here in the United States and in every nation around the world!
He went on to say, “From my perspective, there is no doubt God is moving powerfully through Love God Greatly. He is doing the impossible through you.”
Friends, this week I’m humbled and excited to share with you some of the amazing opportunities we’ve been given to share God’s Word with the world and with you, your friends, and neighbors this past year! It truly has been a joy and honor! You see, Love God Greatly isn’t just a Bible study ministry. Using our English and translated Bible study resources, we strive to develop communities of women who are centered around God’s Word. Why? Because we’re stronger together, and we firmly believe that women shouldn’t be limited in their access to quality Bible study resources due to lack of translations or finances.
Love God Greatly is… women’s Bible studies + translations + building communities.
This next year – hand in hand and through much prayer – we are stepping out in faith to reach that one woman. Because we see her… and we know how powerfully God can move through just ONE.
One woman influences her family. One family impacts a community. One community – bonded together – is a powerful force that can change a city; a nation.
We are asking God for more “Esthers…”
Women who will boldly stand for God in their country!
That is our hope and prayer.
Now is the time!
So this coming year, I invite you to help us make a greater impact here in the United States and around the world…
For those of you who may not know, over the years, my husband and I have solely financed Love God Greatly and it hasn’t been until recently that we’ve begun to receive donations and began selling our journals and books to support the growing cost of running LGG, while still allowing our journals to be downloaded for free from our website for those who can’t afford to purchase them.
Let me be honest with you….I dislike asking for donations. I’m a “giver” and I LOVE to give things away…this asking and selling….it’s way outside of my comfort zone. But I’ll willing to do it because I love this ministry and LOVE the women we get to serve.
I’ve seen first hand how God is changing lives through LGG…and I know you have, too. Just this past week through the testimonies of You Are Forgiven, we saw a tiny glimpse of how God is moving through women’s lives as they dig into God’s Word through our studies! We have reached a point that we just can’t continue to meet the growing needs without your help. Even though I’m completely outside of my comfort zone….it is an exciting time because I’m completely dependent on God to move through you and others…and I think that’s a good place to be.
For those who don’t know, I have chosen not to receive a salary for running Love God Greatly so ALL the money that comes into LGG from donations to journal/book sales….everything goes straight back into the ministry. I’m so thankful to be able to have the opportunity to make this decision and help fund this amazing ministry because I LOVE it and LOVE seeing how God is using it so powerfully to change the world….one woman at a time!
Love God Greatly is a dream come true and I’m so honored and excited to be a part of it!
God has been growing Love God Greatly dramatically this past year and it’s beautiful to see! He’s opening doors of opportunities like never before and I’m looking forward to seeing all that He has in store for us in 2017.
This past year God has blessed us with even more translators…increasing our reach around the world! We are seeing Him build branches of translator teams who we are equipping to reach their countries with God’s Word through our Love God Greatly Bible studies.
Our heart is to serve you, as well as missionaries and churches around the world by giving them access to our Bible studies and thereby lessening their workload and providing them with resources they couldn’t otherwise afford.
When you support us by volunteering your time, praying for our ministry, purchasing a book, or donating to Love God Greatly, you are helping to make the impossible… possible.
So as we begin to say goodbye to 2018 and hello to 2019…I thought it was only fitting to have a little celebration for all that God has done this past year! Our celebrations this week are your celebrations! Together, God has done this through us. What an honor it has been to serve alongside each of you this past year! THANK YOU!
Join me this week as we celebrate all that God has done through Love God Greatly in 2018. Together, in prayer and with thanksgiving, let’s look forward to 2019 with much anticipation and if you are able, please consider making a donation and helping us reach and equip more women with God’s Word in 2019!

Everlasting God Your ways are higher than our ways, Your thoughts so much higher than our thoughts and I am truly grateful! Thank You for blessing the obedience of Angela and her husband many years ago. You do know our hearts desires and bless the work of our hands. Each woman who comes to this ministry is touched by Your mighty hand and feels Your unrelenting love. Precious Lord, I ask that You continue to grow this ministry, starting with each woman here You are working to reach a nation. Give us the beautiful feet that will take Your glorious gospel to ALL nations, through Your divine power. By ourselves we are nothing, but through You, and by the power of Your might, a nation can grow to love You, to know You so intimately. Thank You for each of us You have brought here. Help us to be stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in Your works because we know that anything done through You is NOT done in vain!! I ask that You pour out Your blessings upon this ministry and upon every woman You bring here. Bless the translators You are bringing and Lord, bring so many more. Use us, mold us into the women of Yours You would have us to be. Let there be so much less of us, and so much more, exceedingly more of You. Thank You. Wow, Awesome….can’t wait for this study!
Thank you all, especially Angela, for allowing us to take part in sharing God’s Word to women all over the world! The plan and program of LGG works so well, opening up minds and hearts to see what God has for each of us! And just because some of us facilitate doesn’t mean we’ve “got it all together”! I am learning right along with our ladies, expanding my love and understanding of His Word, will, and purpose for my life, too! Thank you all for the help we receive on a daily basis when we need help figuring out the logistics of what we do as facilitators—we never feel like any question is too “dumb” to ask and are answered in a timely manner! We not only pray for one another in our group, but we have the double benefit of facilitators praying for facilitators, because we each have deep needs of the body, soul, mind, and heart! I do pray that God will continue to bless this ministry as each one of us grows in all that He would have us learn. If there was one thing I would like changed, it’s the choice of light gray printing which is extremely difficult for us with “old eyes” to read! The asthetics of it are lovely, just not terribly practical to reading easily. Again, thank you all for ALL you do to further growth in the Kimgdom of our Savior and Lord!
