When I recommitted my life to God at the age of 23, I never knew how lost I was or how much I didn’t know about God. I was “saved” at the age of 9, but I didn’t understand what it meant to live a Christian life. I had no example. As a rebellious teen I completely lost my way and did things I shouldn’t have. When God answered my prayer to save my life when I was in a car accident, I promised the only promise I’d ever make to Him- to serve Him. I was lost. I didn’t know how to read my bible or earnestly pray until I came across LGG. I have actively participated in the studies since 2014 and facilitated a couple. God has changed me and my life tremendously. I’m no longer scared or nervous to talk openly to my kids about God. I didn’t want to say the wrong thing and steer them in the wrong direction, so I left it up to my church for them. Now we pray every night before bed, and I’m teaching my 4yr old to ask God to protect through the night as she thinks there are monsters lurking in her room. Watching a video blog when I first started, the woman mentioned asking God to open her heart and mind before she even opens her bible. That got me thinking, and since I started doing that, my bible studying is actually studying and not just reading without absorbing God’s word. Thank you LGG for helping me on my path with God.

My 12 year old daughter started our last bible study from LGG on her own on the Bible app. Then one night we had some teens spend the night and they invited her to join their night devotional. They all SOAP and she didn’t know how. I explained it to her. Then told her I would print out the next study for LGG for her and we would do it together. She is really looking forward to this study.
