We talk all the time about how ONE WOMAN can make a difference in her country and it’s true! I’m so excited for you to meet my sweet friend, Viola, and hear how God is using her to reach Hungarian women with our Love God Greatly Bible Studies!

Viola is an amazing example of what God can do when one woman says, “Yes” to God!!! Because of her, women in Hungary and Hungarian women in other countries, now have access to Bible studies in their language!

Dear Sisters in the Lord,

Greetings from the Hungarian Love God Greatly branch!

God is doing a mighty work in our country, Hungary! I can’t even tell you how grateful I am for having the opportunity to serve together with an amazing team of precious, like-minded women to minister to Hungarian-speaking ladies in several countries. Of the Hungarian women who study with us, half do not live in Hungary, as they have moved from Hungary for family or financial reasons and miss their country and their language. As these women are trying to settle into a new culture, they are able to maintain their Hungarian roots through the Love God Greatly Hungarian Bible studies. Others were born and live in surrounding countries that used to be part of Hungary, therefore they speak Hungarian. I often feel that through our Bible Studies we can be united once again and learn about and praise God in the language we all share.

In just a few weeks we will be celebrating our 4^th anniversary of the very first Hungarian Love God Greatly Bible study. Looking back on all that has happened since then fills my heart with incredible joy and thanksgiving! What an amazing God we serve!

What started out as a small Facebook group with just a few of my close friends and relatives has now grown into a popular Bible study with over 100 women participating in the latest You Are Forgiven study!!! 

After the initial year of translating and facilitating by myself, I felt like the Lord was telling me to delegate some of the responsibilities to others. God was helping me build a team and slowly people were added. We now have a team of 20 people who are committed to serve in LGG Hungary! I now have other co-facilitators and team leaders who are helping me run the LGG Hungarian Branch!  Our ministry team is called the Star Team from Philippians 2:15-16: “Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life.” It is amazing how God added these faithful people to pray, encourage, make graphics, facilitate groups, mentor, maintain and translate Love God Greatly blog posts.

This past August, we were excited to host our second Hungarian Intensive and have Angela Perritt as our speaker and guest of honor. I can’t describe what a blessing her visit was to all of us! We felt so appreciated and connected to Love God Greatly and Angela’s encouragement has given us new momentum to continue on our road and serve women more fervently and passionately in our country. Angela’s trip has given so much to me personally and her true joy, wisdom, and leadership were exemplary.

Even if you do not understand the language, join us in praising God who made all this possible! Our team also runs a Facebook page and a blog with translated posts and some of our very own blog posts written by wonderfully talented team members. Having our own posts makes the ministry ours all the more.

I am convinced people should support Love God Greatly because personally I only saw blessings coming out this ministry. Because of Love God Greatly, I grew as a believer and leader, I’m closer to God now. I found new friends in the Lord and got to encourage and minister with women I would have never met without these studies.

Love God Greatly is a worthy cause because it points women to God, presents the gospel purely, and brings communities closer to each other and to God. Who would not want be part of something that God is continually blessing and increasing?
