One of my favorite verses is Deuteronomy 6:5 (6:4-9) and, years ago, I was pleasantly surprised when I found them in the New Testament as well! As we learn to love God wholeheartedly, may we apply that love to those in this world so they can know him!
Thank you for the challenge of purposely choosing to have a Sabbath in the midst of our week. Exodus states it clearly that we have six days to meet our earthly needs and one day is all God asks of us so we may rest and concentrate on him. This is a reminder that I needed to hear!
