What if God has been orchestrating every single event of life in preparation for what you are about to face? What if this is your time?

There is only one you. There is only one person in this world with your exact personality, your heritage, your skills and talents, and with your background. Only one person has experienced all of the things you have in life – the life lessons, the successes, the opportunities, the suffering, and the heartache. Only you.

God squeezes every drop from every situation in your life to prepare you for this exact moment. No moment of your life is wasted.

There are no coincidences in the kingdom of God. You are where you are right now for a reason and for a purpose.

Then Mordecai told them to reply to Esther, “Do not think to yourself that in the king’s palace you will escape any more than all the other Jews. For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” – Esther 4:13-14

Mordecai gives Esther a call to action. He advises her that her life is at risk whether she chooses to help her people or not. Mordecai’s faith rests in the Lord to deliver the Jewish people no matter what. Through whomever and however He pleases.

He tells Esther that this opportunity is one that God may have ordained for her and to consider that her entire life had been purposed for this very situation. Mordecai helps Esther to realize that she is not a queen in the palace for herself, but for God.

How different would your life be if you believed that God has strategically placed you in your family, your home, your marriage, and your workplace?  Regardless of whether it is a family of dysfunction, a house in chaos, a marriage strained to its limits, or a dead-end job with hostile coworkers.

God has you exactly where you are so that you can be the light and the hope in the midst of the ongoing darkness. Your time to shine and uplift is now!

It is easy to miss God’s hand in your life and underestimate your strategic position simply because it doesn’t look the way you expect.  If you aren’t careful you can allow your fears, your indifference, your disappointment, or even your insecurities to prevent you from responding obediently to God’s mission.

God has an infinite number of options and solutions to any situation. He is not limited by any of the events of your life. It doesn’t matter the enormity or overwhelming nature of your circumstances.  He is not hindered by the complexity of it all. Not even the people involved can stop Him.

In fact, God often chooses to use imperfect flawed people and imperfect circumstances to carry out His perfect plans.

Neither your failures, your mistakes, nor your sin can negate God’s ability to accomplish His will. When God calls, you may say no, but He will simply call another.

However, God grants these beautiful opportunities to be used as part of His plan and purposes for the world. What an honor and privilege to be God’s ambassadors as He extends His hand to reach the world through us!

Farmers who wait for perfect weather never plant. If they watch every cloud, they never harvest. – Ecclesiastes 11:4

Is this your time?

Every believer’s life is marked with opportunities that demand you take a risk to follow Jesus and fulfill His purpose for your life. Because you were created to glorify God, what better way to do so than to be courageous and obedient to His call.

Sometimes you may dread God’s call believing that it is more than you can possibly handle. However, the mission must be more than you can possibly do in your own strength in order for God to receive all of the glory.

Esther’s transition from orphan to queen to deliverer of the Jewish people revealed the hand prints of God all through her life.

Like Esther and Mordecai, believers can be confident in God’s faithfulness and His powerful extraordinary work in our ordinary lives.

You were created and called by God for such a time as this!

Are you facing a situation that requires full trust in the Lord as you step out in faithful obedience to Him? Let us pray for you.

Peace and grace to you,
