I was born in a country that was completely closed and isolated from the rest of the world because of the communist regime. Religion and religious practices were forbidden, and I had never heard of Christ or the Bible.
At the age of 9, the regime fell, so the first missionaries began to come to our country. My mom was eager to hear more about God, and she started attending the first meetings that were held in a house. She would always take me to the meetings where I would attend Sunday school. I found the Bible stories very interesting. I continued this routine for several years. Then one day, God spoke to me and touched my heart. I realized that these were not just stories. Jesus Christ really came to earth to save me and shed his blood for me. I realized I was living in a way that went against Christ, and I didn’t want to do it anymore. I decided to give Him my heart and my life, dedicating myself and serving Him.
Today, it has been almost 30 years since that moment. God has blessed my life in a wonderful way. My heart’s desire is to serve Him so that more would come to know Him.
A friend of mine had come into contact with the LGG studies. Using the SOAP method was a new way for us to study and know God more. We loved it so much that we first started using the studies by translating only the reading plans. I visited LGG’s website and saw that the ministry didn’t have any Albanian translations. God put a desire in my heart to translate these studies so that more Albanian women could use them.
As we faithfully seek to translate each study, I pray that more and more Albanian women will come to know our Savior and be transformed.
