“Do not be afraid! Listen carefully, for I proclaim to you good news that brings great joy to all the people: Today your Savior is born in the city of David. He is Christ the Lord” – Luke 2:10-11

Since the beginning, God made covenants with His people, covenants to express both His character and His plans for the world. He made promises, testaments of His faithfulness, reasons for faith and reasons for hope.

He made a covenant with Noah, promising him and his descendants that He would never again destroy the earth. He made a covenant with Abraham, promising to make him a great nation, through whom the Messiah would come. He made a covenant with Israel, giving them a way to be holy and set apart as His chosen people. He made a covenant with David, promising to establish his kingdom forever.

In Christ, all of God’s covenants are fulfilled. Jesus is the answer to all of God’s promises. He is the everlasting covenant we have been waiting for. Through Him we have peace, hope, security, future, holiness, righteousness, and belonging. He is our everlasting covenant.

As we prepare our hearts for Christmas, we will study the ways Jesus is the fulfillment of all of God’s covenant promises. As we celebrate His birth, we will see all the ways Jesus has met our needs and brought us hope.

Everlasting Covenant is a four-week study designed for the season of Advent. Advent is a season of celebrating the coming of Christ and His fulfillment of God’s promises. This study will highlight the ways Christ fulfilled God’s covenants with His people throughout history, concluding with a week of focused study on the Christmas story.

We hope you will join us online for this four-week study or on our Love God Greatly app. You will find corresponding Everlasting Covenant content in both places with our daily blog posts, further insights through our daily devotions, and a loving community to cheer for you as you study the depths of God’s covenant promises.

Everlasting Covenant begins Monday, November 23rd!

You can order the Everlasting Covenant study journal online through our store or on Amazon!
