I love that God put Jeremiah 32:27 in the Bible.
I’ve needed that question asked to me numerous times throughout my life. I’m sure you have, too.
Maybe on the day when the cancer diagnosis was no longer someone else’s but yours.
Maybe on the day when your husband walked out leaving you with a mortgage, bills, and four young children.
Maybe on the day when your boss said your position has been eliminated and you are no longer needed at the company.
Maybe on the day when those hurtful words were spoken to you with such a piercing hatred, you were sure your heart was broken in two.
I remember when my girls were little, I was told one of the most important things I can give my children is an understanding of the majesty of God. Without having a correct view of God, children will grow up seeing Him as small, powerless and distant. Not able to handle the problems that will arise in their lives. When children have a small view of God, they see God as small…I think the same can be said for adults, too.
Having an accurate view of God is important in our relationship with Him.
When our view of God is small, we see our problems, our fears, our “mountains” and “Goliaths” if you will, bigger than Him.
One of the ways I’ve tried to help my girls understand that NOTHING is too big or too hard for God is by pointing them to nature…what God has created for us to see, touch and experience.
I’ve taken my girls to the Pacific and Atlantic oceans to see for themselves the vastness of God. To walk along the beach and look out over the waves and the never-ending view of the ocean.
I’ve taken them to the Redwoods forest in California to see first hand the size of the Redwood trees as they scratch the sky above.
They’ve studied the solar system in school and I’ve taken them on a field trip to NASA, asking them the question “Can you imagine how big God must be if He created the sun, moon and all the planets?”
And then there have been times when we didn’t need to travel any further than our own backyard looking at the details of flowers in our garden and the various bugs crawling around in our grass.
I’ve even had the same discussion with them as they looked through a microscope…asking them, “Can you believe the detail and thought God has put into everything He has made?!”
I’ve done all those things with the same purpose, to help my girls see that nothing is too big, too small or too far for God.
And that truth is the same for us.
No matter what we are facing in our lives, nothing is too hard for the One who created the heavens and the earth.
Nothing is out of His reach or His sovereignty.
If He can part the waters for the Israelites fleeing Egypt, and place Earth in the exact location in our solar system to sustain life, He can handle our problems.
So next time you are struggling with giving your problems, your concerns, your fears over to God…look up into the night sky.
You, my sweet friend, are not alone. God has promised He is with you and He will help you. You don’t have to battle this alone. You don’t have to fight this in your own strength…turn to Him. Seek Him…He can handle it.
Love God Greatly,
Let’s Talk: What has had the greatest influence on the way you view God and His capabilities?
Challenge: This week, look for ways you can increase your view and understanding of God by going out into nature and observing all that God has created around you.

Wow. Such a timely post for me, as I am facing some major decision-making and I keep feeling overwhelmed by them. I want to do “the right” thing, but when I try to do what makes sense, I start to feel off balanced. BUT…when I take my decisions to God, peace evokes every part of me. I needed this reminder today that HE is bigger than any decision I could possibly make. THANK YOU Angela for sharing your heart and wisdom with us!
God bless you dear Jonna for being her with us. We thank God for eveloping you with peace. He got you! Everything concerning your life is in his hands and he will see to it that you make the right decisions always. God bless you dear.

Thank you Angela, at 56 I still need to remember just how big our God is. And I didn’t even realize I needed that reminder until you wrote it and it touched my heart. Thank you for this.

Thank you so much for this reminder Angela! I really needed to hear this especially today! I am having trouble getting rid of the doubt, fear and worry about the circumstances and situations in my life. But, God is so much bigger than anything I faced or will face. I just need to keep my focus on Him knowing that He is always taking care of me no matter what is going on in my life.

Love this study. I have boys who see no need for God and believe He is irrelevant and unnecessary. I have been praying so long that they would return to serving Him. At times I feel like giving up. But I needed the reminder IS THERE ANYTHING TOO HARD For Him? No nothing. Thanks for the reminder. I can’t give up!
