“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” – Revelation 1:8
Alpha is the first letter of the Greek alphabet and Omega is the last. Jesus is the beginning and the end. The length of His life on earth was not the extent of Him. He existed with God in the beginning and will reign with Him forever. God is timeless and His power is limitless. Everything begins with God and will somehow end with Him.
Our human perspectives are limited. We cannot understand the width and breadth of His time span, but we can witness His authority over time through His revelations of infinite power and wisdom.
God, thank you for being the before, the now, and the forever after. We know You never end and You never leave us. You are the only constant within our lives; You are the only constant beyond our lives. And we praise You for your boundless presence!
Week 2 Challenge: In your journal, record specific examples of God’s faithfulness in each season of your life – from your childhood and young adult years, and each decade after. Spend time this week thanking God that He is your firm foundation before, now, and forever after.

It’s not too late to join our His Name Is… study!
When it comes to God, one name just isn’t adequate enough to tell of His great character and mighty power. One name simply cannot contain our Savior. For four weeks leading up to Christmas, join the Love God Greatly community as we look at names that reveal to us the greatness of Jesus:

This, the Aleph and the Tav, gets even better (and so much deeper) when you learn Hebrew & the word-pictures of the letters. Also, the word that these 2 letters spell when put together & the verses in which it appears. Thanks for today’s little devotion! It served as a prompt to a wonderful view of Who God is.
God bless you Tashina.
Our God is indeed so great.
So glad you are joining us Tashina! God bless you, Sister.
God is The Beginning every morning as I open my eyes ? and start my day. All throughout He shows Himself Faithful to me, when doubt try’s to creep in He rushes in to ease my soul as my Trust is in Him and Him alone. (Proverbs 3:5-6) God is the end to my day as I lay down at night and Thank Him for allowing us to get through one more day and all His Grace and Mercy in our lives. If we begin and end our days and really think about the abundance of His Grace… We will never stop Thanking Him.
Blessings my Sisters
