From Adam and Eve to the Apostle John, prayer is found throughout God’s Word. Most of us know prayer is important, yet we find ourselves struggling to make it a priority.

“Therefore let us confidently approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace whenever we need help.”

In prayer, we are invited to experience fellowship with God as we draw near to Him, acknowledging our great need for His presence and power in our lives. 

Yet even with this knowledge, many of us still struggle to take advantage of this vital opportunity. In our ignorance, we often act as though we are strong enough to resist temptation, brave enough to fight the attacks of Satan, savvy enough to navigate the ways of the world, and knowledgeable enough to interpret the Word of God on our own. God never intended for us to live this way.

In this six-week Love God Greatly Bible study, we’ll spend time in God’s Word, finding answers to questions about how we should pray, how we make prayer a priority, and whether or not God hears our prayers. Journal along with us as we dive into Scripture together, reading and writing what God speaks to our hearts.
