Um ehrlich zu sein, mache ich das auch bei anderen Dingen, die weniger hilfreich sind. In stressigen Momenten suche ich Trost in Essen. Was der Tod und falscher Trost zu bieten haben, gelten nichts zu den Füßen Jesu. Ein Lied drückt es auf folgende Art und Weise aus: „Der Tod hat verloren, zerrissen der Vorhang, und Sünde und Grab schweigen vor Dir.“ Das Lied geht weiter, „Hast keinen Gegner, keiner vergleichbar, Gott, Du regierst für alle Zeit.“ (Wie schön dieser Name ist, Hillsong).

Freunde, Maria rechnete nicht damit, dass das Grab leer war, aber sind wir mal ehrlich, rechnen wir heute mit der Kraft, die das leere Grab uns bietet? Das ist nicht irgendeine banale Bibelgeschichte, sondern ein lebensveränderndes, siegreiches Bild dessen, was Gott durch die Menschheit hindurch getan hat und tut.

Hör auf das, was die Bibel über die Kraft sagt, die durch Christus kam:

Johannes 10, 10: „Ein Dieb will rauben, morden und zerstören. Ich aber bin gekommen, um ihnen das Leben in ganzer Fülle zu schenken.“

  1. Johannes 5, 3-5: „Gott zu lieben heißt, seine Gebote zu befolgen, und das ist nicht schwer. Denn die Kinder Gottes besiegen diese Welt; sie siegen durch den Glauben an Christus. Und wer würde den Kampf gegen die Welt gewinnen, wenn nicht der, der glaubt, dass Jesus der Sohn Gottes ist?“

Römer 8, 37-39: „Aber trotz all dem tragen wir einen überwältigenden Sieg davon durch Christus, der uns geliebt hat. Ich bin überzeugt: Nichts kann uns von seiner Liebe trennen. Weder Tod noch Leben, weder Engel noch Mächte, weh der unsere Ängste in der Gegenwart noch unsere Sorgen um die Zukunft, ja nicht einmal die Mächte der Hölle können uns von der Liebe Gottes trennen. Und wären wir hoch über dem Himmel oder befänden uns in den tiefsten Tiefen des Ozeans, nichts und niemand in der ganzen Schöpfung kann uns von der Liebe Gottes trennen, die in Christus Jesus, unserem Herrn, erschienen ist.“

An anderer Stelle heißt es so: In Christus sind wir „wir mehr als Überwinder“ (Röm. 8,37; ELB), denn „wenn Gott für uns ist, wer kann da noch gegen uns sein?“ (Röm. 8,31; NLB).

Jesu Auferstehung verändert alles.

Maria ging hin, den Tod zu suchen und fand den auferstandenen Herrn. Sie ging hin, und suchte einen Weg, ihre Trauer zu bewältigen und fand Leben. Und heute, was auch immer es ist, wonach du suchst, worin auch immer du versuchst, Trost und Wert zu finden, es verblasst im Vergleich dazu, was das leere Grab dir bietet.

Wohin wendest du dich, anstelle von Jesus? Leg es an Sein Kreuz. Diese gewohnheitsmäßige Sünde, in der du zeitlich begrenzten Trost findest? Du bist mehr als ein Überwinder durch die Kraft des auferstandenen Jesus Christus. Gott hat durch die Kraft des leeren Grabes bewiesen, dass Er für uns ist, also was kann gegen uns sein? Daher bete ich heute dafür, dass du in Anspruch nimmst, was richtigerweise dir gehört, im auferstandenen Christus: Leben und zwar Leben in Fülle.
