I was born in Kazakhstan to a nominal Muslim family, where we did not talk about faith or how God works in our lives. I learned that the source of wisdom and guidance is a legacy of our past, handed down from generation to generation. I eventually left my home country to study in Poland at the age of 22. The only guiding principle in my life was “use your common sense,” something that was not rooted in anything real, nor was it a source of peace.
As I began my young adulthood in a new country where there are many churches, I asked myself, “What do people learn in these churches? What do they believe?” This simple question led me to attend a Sunday service at a Christian church. This was a turning point in my life.
Through the community and the Bible studies I attended, I came to understand the character of God: holy, righteous, and forever faithful. I also learned who I am: a sinner who needs the Lord Jesus Christ, the only way to eternal life.
The more I studied the Word with the church group, the clearer I could see that wisdom, knowledge, love, patience, and faith come from God. I saw and was grateful for the Giver, not only the gifts. I could not be more grateful for the way He found me and turned my beliefs upside down.
I attended a women’s conference in Northern Ireland last March, not knowing that it was a Love God Greatly conference. When I arrived, I heard more about the ministry of Love God Greatly and how, through this ministry, God has been working all over the world. I met one of the women on the Polish team and asked if there was a Russian translation. She said, “No, but you could start one!” God has allowed me to get involved in Love God Greatly and I am so thankful for this incredible community of women. I am now starting the Russian translation branch and am excited to see the ways God will continue to spread His Word and His Truth in Russian.
Although I live far from my home country, this was part of His plan. I pray that God would reach more people in Kazakhstan with the truth of the Gospel and that the Church will grow in God’s wisdom.
Serving Him,
Karina from Kazakhstan

I have been in this app. for several yrs. And been in bible, studies with friends. I have had problems down loading LoveGodGreatly,Draw Near. Then I was told to uninstall, so I did but when I brought it back it didn’t all come back. I had used a new email, but now that isn’t working because someone else has it. The old password doesn’t help either. My bible study is starting the third week and I can’t find it. Please help me to put it all together again. Thank you.
